20 October 2008: OPTIMISTIC 2008 FINISH FOR QUAIFE-HOBBS
Tonbridge driver Adrian Quaife-Hobbs brought his 2008 season to a close with a weekend of mixed results in Barcelona this weekend. The 17 year-old, in only his first full season in Formula Renault, was forced out of the first race while lying second but went on to finish his year with another solid finish in race two.
13 October 2008: QUAIFE-HOBBS CLINCHES FOURTH IN FORMULA RENAULT TITLE BATTLE
In only his first full season in Formula Renault, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs narrowly missed out on the runner-up spot in the hotly contested Formula Renault 2.0 Italia Cup at Monza this weekend. The 17 year-old Sackville School pupil once again showed a cracking pace at the historic Italian track, going into the second race of the weekend with a realistic chance of converting his seventh place grid start into a podium finish, which would have given him second in the title battle.
Brackley, UK – 13 October 2008: SEASON CLOSES WITH PODIUM FINISHES FOR T-SPORT
The 2008 British F3 International Series drew to a close at Donington Park yesterday and T-sport drivers, Sergio Perez and Steven Guerrero completed their seasons with podium finishes for the British team. Perez has taken fourth place in the overall Championship Class standings and Guerrero’s runner up spot in the National Class Championship means that T-Sport has not finished outside the top two in the National Class in the last seven years.
Brackley, UK – 30 June 2008: STEVEN GUERRO WINS MATIONAL CLASS IN ROUND 12 OF THE 2009 BRITISH F3 INTERNATIONAL SERIES
T-Sport’s Steven Guerrero took his maiden British F3 victory yesterday, winning the National Class in round 12 of the 2008 British F3 International Series at Thruxton. His victory marks the first win for a Colombian in the series since Juan Pablo Montoya’s last win in 1996.
It was a good day for T-Sport as Sergio Perez retook the lead in the Championship Class, albeit by just one point.
Brno, Czec Republic - 25 May 2008: DOUBLE PODIUM FOR QUAIFE-HOBBS AT BRNO
Adrian Quaife-Hobbs has leapt to third in the points standings of the Formula Renault 2.0 Italia Cup after taking two third places in the races at Brno on Sunday. The BRDC Rising Star once again showed his potential with a superb performance on his first race in the Czech Republic, posting the fourth quickest time in the first free practice.
Come qualifying on Saturday, the 17 year-old upped his performance to set the third quickest time for race one, his second quickest lap good enough for a front row start for race two. “Free practice didn’t go quite as well as we’d hoped,” said Adrian. “We struggled to find the optimum set up so elected to concentrate on getting a good balance for qualifying. In that the car was great and I was able to get some quick laps in, good enough for third and second place.”

Brackley, UK 19 May 2008: DOUBLE DELIGHT FOR PEREZ (T-Sport)
T-Sports Sergio Perez stamped his mark on the British F3 International Series title this weekend with two dominant victories at Monza in Italy. The Mexican driver had times disallowed from both qualifying sessions and consequently had to start each race from 14th place on the grid, which illustrates how amazing his performance was this weekend.

It was fantastic, said Sergio after the second race. Everything went well in both races after such a disappointment with the qualifying results. It was perfect; we made no mistakes. Its difficult to go from 14th to first when everyone around you is crashing a lot so I just concentrated on finishing; I wasnt thinking about winning. My straight line speed was very good. Honda did a perfect job, and so did my team. Ive been to Monza four times and always won here so its my favourite circuit now!
Monza, Italy – 26 April 2008: WALKER OFF TO A STRONG START AT MONZA James Walker’s 2008 World Series by Renault season got off to a flying start today with a seventh place finish in the first of this weekend’s two races at Monza in Italy. The Jersey driver drew the short straw in qualifying and found himself in an incredibly strong group. The experience he gained last year has taught James to keep a clear head and maintain focus so, even though he started the race from 15th on the grid, he was determined to get a good haul of points in race one. |

The young Mexican was pipped to pole by Marcus Ericsson in the dying moments of the first qualifying session, but this didnt turn out to be a problem for Sergio as he got a great start in race one and took a classic lights-to-flag victory.
