Formerly Team Physiologist to the British professional mountain bike team and Sports Science consultant to several Blues teams at the University of Oxford.

Stewart is the founder of Formula Fitness. Working with a dedicated band of sporting professionals who have helped many elite athletes achieve their objectives.

Stewart has worked in Exercise /Sports Science and Leisure Management for the past 15 years. During this time he has served as a consultant to many of the UK’s top commercial and corporate organisations.

Stewart helped to establish and manage the fitness facility at the University of Oxford and is the former exercise adviser to Weight Watchers (UK) limited.

Stewart was the trainer responsible for getting Jenson Button into F1. He has also trained 2 other F1 drivers, a F3000 World champion, a Le Mans 24-hour winner and numerous British champions. Stewart also worked with Stephanie Cooke the gold medallist at the Sydney Olympics in Pentathlon.

Stewart holds an MSc in Exercise and Health Science and is a Professional member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES).

Stewart started swimming back in the 80’s, completed for the London borough of Newham as team captain, along with being an Essex and Southern Counties swimmer. In the late 1980’s he completed a comprehensive waters sports instructor’s course at the national water sports complex. Stewart is a GB International in Biathele, a GB ranked Swimmer and the 2005/6 Southern Area Biathlon Champion.
